Shai Navot Associate

Shai joined Simpson Western's Litigation team in November 2020, providing advice and representation for our clients across a wide range of civil and commercial disputes.  In 2023, Shai moved into our Relationship Property and Family team.

Shai has extensive court experience, from both litigation and Crown prosecution work for over 7 years. This has included running trials in the District Court, and appearing as counsel in the District Court, High Court and Court of Appeal on a vast range of matters. Shai brings determination and passion to everything she does.

Outside of work, Shai is continuing her part time study towards a Master of Public Policy at the University of Auckland, which furthers her passion for intelligent and informed policies to deal with economic and social issues.

Shai is currently on maternity leave.
