George Steyn Senior Associate

George has over 15 years of civil and commercial litigation experience both in New Zealand and abroad. George provides expert advice and representation across a wide range of civil and commercial disputes. He has an ability to simplify complex issues with the primary goal of resolving disputes quickly and efficiently.

George practiced as a barrister sole (Advocate) for 8 years in South Africa, before qualifying and being admitted to practice in Australia and New Zealand. Since immigrating to New Zealand, George has appeared as counsel in a number of District Courts, the High Court, tribunals, arbitrations and mediations.

George is fluent in English, Greek and Afrikaans. Outside of work, he is an avid fisherman, footballer, cyclist and dad.
