Shai specialises in dispute resolution, advising clients on a wide range of civil and commercial disputes, estate litigation, and relationship property matters.

With over 10 years in legal practice, Shai works across both our relationship property and litigation teams, with particular experience in resolving trust, estate and property-related disputes. Shai has extensive court experience, from both litigation and Crown prosecution work. This has included running trials in the District Court, and appearing as counsel in the District Court, High Court and Court of Appeal on a vast range of matters.

Shai also holds a Master of Public Policy (First Class Honours) from the University of Auckland, reflecting her broader interest in evidence-based thinking and strategic problem solving.

“Disputes over property, trusts or estates can be deeply personal and legally complex. My role is to bring clarity and direction to the process. I work with clients to resolve these issues strategically — whether through negotiations, mediation or litigation.”

Outside of work Shai is busy with two young children, and spending time with friends and family.
