Amber grew up on the North Shore and studied Law, Criminology and Sociology at the University of Auckland. After commencing a summer clerkship at Simpson Western at the end of 2023, Amber completed an overseas exchange at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, receiving the Stowe Family Law Prize for first in course in Family Law. Amber then returned to us part-time as a law clerk in 2025 and is due to start full time at the end of 2026 after finishing her legal professionals and her honors dissertation, which focuses on elder and succession law.
Outside of work, Amber enjoys Latin and Ballroom dancing, paddleboarding, travelling, and spending time with her friends and family.
