Prior to joining Simpson Western, Ben worked at large commercial law firms in the UK and New Zealand, and more recently at a leading boutique litigation firm. This background has provided Ben with a diverse array of experience. In addition to his commercial background, Ben has a particular interest and experience in climate and environmental law, and has been involved in several significant cases.
Ben qualified and worked as a lawyer in the UK before moving to New Zealand in 2023. Since then, he has been admitted in both New Zealand and New South Wales, Australia. He has appeared in the District Court, High Court, and Sports Tribunal.
Outside of work, Ben is a keen musician and sportsman.
