Robert Clark Partner

Robert's specialty is property law.  He leads Simpson Western's property team, advising the firm's clients on all aspects of property-related law.

As one of the property law partners for more than 15 years, Robert has significant experience in all aspects of property law.  He advises a range of commercial and private clients on sales and purchases of commercial and residential properties, drafting and negotiating commercial leases, advising on building contracts, subdivisions and refinancing.

Robert is involved in his local business community and is a long-standing Governance Board Member of the Takapuna Beach Business Association.  The Board has been influential in transforming Takapuna into a vibrant and flourishing retail and commercial centre.

Away from work, Robert enjoys classical music and jazz.  Robert is proud to support the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.  He is a trustee of the Auckland Philharmonia Foundation, a charitable trust that supports the long term future of the Orchestra.  On a personal level, Robert enjoys playing the piano, but despite regular lessons, he admits he has probably reached his potential!

Robert has played in and coached youth cricket teams with some success.  He also enjoys post-war British and European cars, and is the proud owner of a beautiful 1969 Lancia Fulvia.
