Robert has significant experience in all aspects of property law. He advises a range of commercial and private clients on commercial and residential property transactions including the drafting and negotiating of commercial leases.
Robert also helps lead a team that specialises in advising clients about their asset protection, lifestyle planning and trust requirements.
Robert was involved in our local business community and was a Governance Board Member of the Takapuna Beach Business Association for 16 years. The Board has been influential in transforming Takapuna into a vibrant and flourishing retail and commercial centre.
Away from work, Robert has a passion for classical music and jazz. Robert is a proud supporter of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Auckland’s professional orchestra. He has been trustee of the Auckland Philharmonia Foundation, the charitable trust that supports the long-term future of APO, for more than 10 years. On a personal level, Robert enjoys playing the piano, but admits he has reached his (limited) potential!
Robert played in and coached youth cricket teams with some success. He also enjoys post-war British and European cars and is the proud owner of a beautiful 1969 Lancia Fulvia.
