Jamie Barr Partner

Jamie specialises in commercial law and leads our business team. He has held roles in both a large corporate and a boutique commercial law firm, and expanded his skillset as a commercial banker with the country's largest bank.

This diverse experience provides a unique perspective on how business entities are structured, funded and transact.  Jamie's deep knowledge of core business principles means he can advise our clients on a wide range of matters, including business structuring, asset sale and purchase, banking and finance, and commercial dispute resolution.

When not at work, Jamie is a big believer in making the most of the North Shore with his young family. Keeping the members on their toes with wayward tee shots on Pupuke Golf Course is a favoured pastime, however he says any type of sporting challenge is usually welcomed.
