Steffi joined the Simpson Western's graduate programme in 2019 as a Law Clerk and has been assisting and gaining experience in our Litigation team. She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in October 2019.

Steffi is a local to the North Shore. She studied at Auckland University and did a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Anthropology). While she was studying, Steffi spent three years working for a sole practitioner specialising in traffic law, including limited licences.

Outside of work, Steffi likes to keep herself busy and enjoys staying active. She is passionate about her sports, particularly volleyball which she has played at local, regional and national levels. She now stays involved in volleyball by coaching at school and club levels, as well as sitting on the Harbour Volleyball Association board. She loves the outdoors and the beach so working on the North Shore makes her feel at home.

Steffi was awarded the Judge Deobhakta Memorial Prize in April 2019 for achieving the highest marks in her Criminal Procedure paper.
