Simpson Western Summer Clerk Programme

Each year we endeavour to employ a number of summer clerks.  Our summer clerking period runs from mid November through to mid February to coincide with the University summer break. 

At Simpson Western we involve our summer clerks in all aspects of the "real" practice of law through a process of rotation through our teams.

We believe that the best way to develop our summer clerks is by giving them the opportunity to have hands on experience dealing with clients and client's legal issues in addition to the usual research and opinion writing.

It is hoped that at the conclusion of your time with us you will have an improved understanding of the practical aspects of law as well as a better idea of that area of law that best fits your style and personality.
